Tire Pressure Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
FRONT
1. Remove wheelhouse splash shield at transponder requiring service.





2. Disconnect wiring harness connector (1) at transponder(2).
3. Remove mounting screws (3), then remove transponder (2) from front fascia (4).
2. Disconnect wiring harness connector (3) at transponder(2).
3. Remove mounting nuts (1), then remove transponder (2) from body seam flange (4).

REAR
1. Remove wheelhouse splash shield at transponder requiring service.





2. Disconnect wiring harness connector (3) at transponder (2).
3. Remove mounting nuts (1), then remove transponder (2) from body seam flange (4).

INSTALLATION
FRONT





1. Position transponder (2) against front fascia (4) and install mounting screw (3).
2. Connect wiring harness connector (1) at transponder (2).
3. Install wheelhouse splash shield and all components removed to access it.
4. Perform TPM Diagnostic Verification Test. Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) Verification Test

REAR





1. Position transponder (2) on body seam flange (4) and install mounting nuts (1).
2. Connect wiring harness connector (3) at transponder (2).
3. Install wheelhouse splash shield and all components removed to access it.
4. Perform TPM Diagnostic Verification Test. Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) Verification Test
