Tire Pressure Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL





1. Using a plastic wedge. Slide the wedge under the Universal Garage Door Opener/Tire Pressure Monitor module (1) and the headliner and pry the TPM (1) away from the headliner.

INSTALLATION





NOTE: The TPM module must be reprogrammed after installation. The TPM system will not function properly if the TPM module is not properly programmed.

1. Install the Universal Garage Door Opener/Tire Pressure Monitor (1) by snapping it into the headliner.
2. Reprogram the TPM module.
3. Perform the following procedure to verify TPM system functionality:
^ Connect the DRB III to the vehicle.
^ Drive the vehicle at 40 km/h (25 MPH) for at least 2 minutes.
^ Using the DRB III and an available assistant, monitor the Tire Pressure Sensors/Transmitters and verify the operation of all four Tire Sensors.
