Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Service and Repair

SENSOR-AMBIENT TEMPERATURE

REMOVAL




1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Working through the hole in the top center of the grille, remove the retaining nut securing the ambient temperature sensor (2) to the radiator support (3).
3. Disconnect the ambient air temperature sensor electrical connector and remove the sensor from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION




1. Install the nut securing the ambient temperature sensor (2) to the radiator support (3).
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Connect the battery negative cable.
4. Close hood.
