CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATION F15 - REPROGRAM WIRELESS CONTROL MODULE

2006 (PT) Chrysler PT Cruiser
2006 (DR) Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup Truck
2006 (DH) Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup Truck
2006 (D1) Dodge Ram 3500 Pickup Truck
NOTE:
This notification applies only to the above vehicles equipped with Sentry Key Theft Deterrent System (sales code GXX) but without Keyless Entry (sales code GXP, GXN, GXR or GXM) built through March 10, 2006 (MDH 03-10-15).
IMPORTANT:
Many of the above vehicles have had the revised software installed at the assembly plant and therefore have been excluded from this notification.
^ The software programmed into the Wireless Control Module(WCM) on about 1,200 of the above vehicles may prevent the vehicle from starting under certain conditions.
^ To correct this condition, the WCM control module must be reprogrammed.

DEALER VIN LISTS Located On DealerCONNECT - Global Recall System(GRS)
Global Recall System(GRS) has been developed to provide dealers with an up-to-date list of involved vehicles by recall number and by dealer code. Owners known to DaimlerChrysler are also listed. Involved vehicles will be removed from GRS within several days of submitting repair claims.
To use the GRS in DealerCONNECT, you first need to click on the "Service" tab and then in the Reports and Information section click on "Global Recall System". Your dealer's VIN list for each recall displayed can be sorted by: VIN sequence, city, postal code, phone number or those vehicles that according to our records were unsold at time of the recall launch.
