Battery Holddown

BATTERY HOLDDOWN

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable or remote negative battery post.
2. On gasoline engine vehicles, remove the air cleaner housing.
3. On diesel engine equipped vehicles, remove the front passengers seat.
4. Remove the battery hold down retaining bolt(s).
5. Remove the battery hold down from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the battery hold down in the vehicle.
2. Install the battery hold down retaining bolt(s).
3. On gasoline engine equipped vehicles, install the air cleaner housing.
4. On diesel engine equipped vehicles, install the passenger front seat.
5. Connect the battery negative cable.
