SPEED SENSOR - INPUT

REMOVAL

Fig.345 Transmission Connectors:

(1) Disconnect battery negative cable. (2) Disconnect input speed sensor connector (2) (Fig. 345).

Fig.346 Input (Turbine) Speed Sensor:

(3) Unscrew and remove input speed sensor (1) (Fig. 346).

Fig.347 O-Ring Location:

(4) Inspect speed sensor O-ring (2) (Fig. 347) and replace if necessary.

INSTALLATION

Fig.348 O-Ring Location:

(1) Inspect speed sensor O-ring (2) (Fig. 348) and replace if necessary.

Fig.349 Input (Turbine) Speed Sensor:

(2) Install and tighten the input speed sensor (1) (Fig. 349) to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).

Fig.350 Transmission Connectors:

(3) Connect input speed sensor connector (2) (Fig. 350).
(4) Connect battery negative cable.
