Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

4 CYLINDER

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Air Cleaner Housing:

2. Remove the air cleaner box.
3. Loosen and relocate the starter motor.

Crankshaft Sensor - 4 Cylinder:

4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
5. Remove crankshaft sensor bolt.
6. Remove the crankshaft sensor.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the crankshaft sensor.
2. Install crankshaft sensor bolt and tighten.
3. Connect the electrical connector.
4. Install starter and tighten bolts.

Air Cleaner Housing:

5. Install the air cleaner box.

7. Connect the negative battery cable.
