LAMP





1. Position the license plate lamp (3) near the mounting hole in the underside of the exterior liftgate handle (2).

2. Position the socket and bulb (1) into the keyed socket opening on the top of the lamp housing.

3. Push the socket and bulb straight into the lamp until firmly seated.

4. Rotate the socket clockwise about 30 degrees to lock it into place.

5. Engage the two retaining tabs (5) on the left end of the lamp with the left side of the mounting hole.

6. Push the right end of the lamp up into the mounting hole until the integral latch that secures the lamp in the mounting hole snaps into place and the release tab (4) moves to its relaxed position at the far right of the clearance notch in the lamp lens.

7. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
