Installation






INSTALLATION

1. If fuel tank is to be replaced, install fuel pump module into tank.




2. Position fuel tank to hydraulic jack.

3. Raise tank until fuel lines can be connected.

4. Connect fuel line (6) to fuel pump module.

5. Connect fuel pump module electrical connector (5) at pump module.

6. Continue raising tank until positioned snug to body.




7. Install and position both tank support straps (3). Install two fuel tank strap bolts (2) and tighten to 30 ft. lbs. (40 Nm).




8. Connect rubber fill hose (7) at rear of tank. Tighten clamp (9).

9. Connect fitting (8) at rear of tank.

10. Connect fittings at front of tank.

11. Connect electrical connector to ESIM switch (4).

12. If equipped, install fuel tank skid plate.

13. Lower vehicle.

14. Fill fuel tank with fuel.

15. Start engine and check for fuel leaks near top of module.
