Installation

INSTALLATION

NOTE: New flywheel/flexplate bolts must be used.

1. Position the flywheel/flexplate (3) and align on the crankshaft pin.
2. Install the spacer and new flywheel/flexplate bolts (1). Tighten bolts to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.)
3. Rotate the flywheel/flexplate bolts an additional 90° clockwise.
4. Install the clutch if equipped.

5. Remove Special Tool 9102 Flywheel Locking Tool (1).
6. Install the starter.
7. Install the transmission.
