Removal
REMOVAL 1.
Remove the transmission.
2.
Remove the starter.
3.
Using Special Tool 9102
Flywheel Locking Tool (1), lock the flywheel by inserting the tool in the starter opening.
4.
Remove the clutch if equipped.
5.
Remove and discard the flywheel bolts (1).
6.
Remove the spacer (2) and the
flywheel/flexplate (3).
7.
Inspect the rear crankshaft oil seal for leakage. Replace if required.
