Removal
REMOVALNOTE: Do not remove the E-clip from the back of the lock cylinder.
1.
Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2.
Remove the latch control. Refer to Trim Plate.
3.
Disengage the retainer clip that secures the lock cylinder (2) to the liftgate (1) and remove the lock cylinder and gasket.
