REMOVAL

WARNING: Before servicing the seat back cover the airbag system must be disarmed. Failure to do so may result in accidental deployment of the airbag and possible personal injury. Refer to restraint systems for service procedures.

1. Remove the front seat back.

2. For front seat illustrations.

3. Remove the headrest (5).

4. Remove the seat back shield (if equipped).

5. Remove the J-strap from the bottom of the seat back.

6. Unzip the seat back cover zippers.

7. Remove the lumbar handle clip and handle (16).

8. Remove the seat airbag (19).

9. Remove the inboard (3) and outboard (4) headrest guides.

10. Remove the seat back frame lower shield.

11. Remove the heated seat harness retainers.

12. Cut the hog rings securing the cover to the seat cushion.

13. Remove the seat back cover (2) and cushion from the frame.
