REMOVAL-DESICCANT AND FILTER ASSEMBLY

WARNING: Refer to the applicable warnings and cautions for this system before performing the following operation. Failure to follow the warnings and cautions could result in possible personal injury or death.

NOTE: The A/C receiver/drier is integral the A/C condenser and cannot be repaired. If the receiver/drier bottle is damaged the A/C condenser must be replaced.

NOTE: Illustration shown with front fascia removed for clarity.




1. Recover the refrigerant from the refrigerant system.

2. Raise and support the vehicle.

3. Remove and discard the desiccant and filter assembly (1) from the bottom of the receiver/drier bottle (2) located on the left side of the A/C condenser (3).

4. Install a plug in, or tape over the bottom of the opened receiver/drier bottle.
