Removal
4.0LThe crankshaft sensor is located on the driver side of the vehicle, above the differential housing. The bottom of the sensor sits above the drive plate.
1.
Disconnect negative battery cable.
2.
Unlock and disconnect electrical connector from
crankshaft position sensor.
3.
Remove sensor mounting screw. Remove sensor.
