1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove engine cover.

3. Remove the upper fascia mounting screws.

4. Remove the pushpins and the upper radiator seal.

5. Remove the pushpins and the LH and RH radiator seal.

6. Remove the upper radiator mounting bolts.

7. Remove and relocate the upper radiator support.




8. Remove and relocate purge solenoid.




9. Disconnect the radiator fan electrical connectors.

10. Remove radiator cooling fan assembly.




11. Remove cooler line support bracket.

12. Unclip the wiring harness.




13. Disconnect battery and solenoid connections.





NOTE: Support engine with floor jack, starter bolts are the front engine mount bracket bolts. If not supported there will be a binding condition on the bracket bolts and starter bolts.

14. Support engine with floor jack on engine to relive pressure on starter mounting bolt (2).




15. Remove 3 starter bolts.

16. Remove starter.
