Removal








REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery's negative cable.
. Remove the headrest from the seat. Head Rest
3. Remove the seat from vehicle. Service and Repair
4. Remove the seat back from the seat frame. Seat Back

NOTE:LH panel shown, RH panel similar.

NOTE:Seat back removed for clarity.






5. Remove the seat back cover panel by carefully prying out the lower end of the cover and disengaging the bottom and side spring clip retainers (3 & 2).
6. Once the four spring clip retainers are disengaged, push upward on the cover toward the top of the seat back and pull the top of the cover outward to disengage from the spring retainers (1).
7. Remove the two lower push-pins securing the seat cover.
8. Disengage the J-hooks securing the seat back cover to the frame.
9. Remove the black foam from under the seat back cover.






10. While squeezing the tabs (1) on the headrest sleeves (2), gently tap the bottom of the sleeve with a rubber mallet and remove from the seat back.
11. Remove the seat airbag mounting fasteners (2).
12. RoIl the side airbag (1) away from the seat back and remove it from the seat back cover.
13. Remove the seat foam and cover from the seat back frame.
