Open liftgate. Lock cylinder shown (1).

Remove fasteners (2) attaching liftgate lower
trim panel.
3.
Disconnect remote handle link from lock cylinder.
4.
Remove lock cylinder clip (1) from lock cylinder (2).
5.
Remove lock cylinder (2).
