Removal
REMOVAL 1.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2.
Remove the
air cleaner housing.
3.
Disconnect the
solenoid harness connector (1).
4.
Disconnect the
solenoid vacuum lines (2).
5.
Remove the
solenoid to valve mounting bolt (2).
6.
Remove the valve to cylinder head mounting bolt (1).
7.
Clean the gasket surfaces. Discard the old gasket.
8.
Clean the
EGR passages as necessary.
