Generator - Installation







INSTALLATION





1. Connect the generator B+ cable with the retaining nut and connect the generator harness connector (4). Tighten the generator B+ cable retaining nut to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).
2. Install protective plastic cap on the generator B+ cable nut (5).
3. Install generator (1) to mounting bracket.
4. Install upper and lower generator mounting bolts. Tighten bolts to 42 Nm (31 ft. lbs.).

CAUTION: Be sure to check proper installation on all pulleys.

5. Install the accessory drive belt. Accessory Drive Belt - Installation.
6. Install right side air inlet tube.
7. Connect the negative battery cable and tighten nut to 7 Nm (60 in. lbs.).
