Generator - Installation

1. Install generator and loose assemble the bolt and nut.
2. Install and tension the generator belt, Accessory Drive Belt - Installation.




3. Tighten the lower pivot bolt (1) to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.).
4. Install axle shaft, Half Shaft - Installation.




5. Install the pencil strut (1) tighten to 52 Nm (38 ft. lbs.).




6. Install the B+ terminal nut (2) and B+ terminal. Tighten to 11.3 Nm (100 ins. lbs.).
7. Plug in the field circuit connector (1) to generator.




8. Install the accessory drive splash shield (1).
9. Install the right front wheel.
10. Lower vehicle.




11. Tighten the T-bolt locknut and tighten to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.)
12. Connect the negative battery cable.
13. Install the air cleaner lid and connect the inlet air temperature sensor and makeup hose.
14. Check the transmission fluid.
