Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect the battery cables.
2. Remove air cleaner assembly (2).




3. Remove the battery hold down clamp and remove the battery (1).




4. Remove the battery tray (1).




5. Disconnect and remove the input speed sensor (1).
6. Disconnect the transmission oil cooler lines. Cap off hoses and fittings to prevent foreign matter intrusion.
7. Disconnect the solenoid/pressure switch assembly connector.




8. Remove the three solenoid/pressure switch assembly-to-transaxle case bolts (1).




9. Remove solenoid/pressure switch assembly (1) and gasket (2).

CAUTION: Be sure to keep foreign material from entering ports in transaxle case. Erratic transaxle operation and/or failure can result.
