Internal NAV Module Failure

INTERNAL NAV MODULE FAILURE

For a complete wiring diagram Consult Diagrams/Electrical

- When Monitored:
When the Navigation Module is powered up.

- Set Condition:
The NAV unit fails the loop back (internal PCI bus circuitry) test. Unit will stay off-line unless loop back test is passed.





Diagnostic Test

1. NAVIGATION UNIT
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Turn the ignition off, wait 10 seconds, then turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
If this DTC is active, view repair.

Repair

- Replace the Navigation Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
