REMOVAL





1. Remove vapor canister filter hose (2) from evaporative system integrity monitor (ESIM) switch.
2. Disconnect electrical connector (3).




CAUTION: Prior to removing the ESIM switch thoroughly clean the entire area of the switch and vapor canister. Failure to clean the entire assembly may lead to contamination from dirt and debris entering the vapor canister and/or the ESIM switch.

3. Remove ESIM switch (1) from vapor canister (3) by depressing the lock tab and rotating the assembly 1/4 turn.
