Front Lower Control Arm - Installation







INSTALLATION





1. Position lower control arm (1) into brackets on engine cradle (3).
2. Install mounting bolts (2) attaching lower control arm bushings to engine cradle (3). Install bolts from rear as shown. Install nuts (4) on bolts (2). Do not tighten bolts at this time.
3. Install steering knuckle, brake rotor and caliper. Front Steering Knuckle - Installation




4. Install tire and wheel assembly (1) Tires and Wheels - Installation. Install and tighten wheel mounting nuts (3) to 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.).
5. Lower vehicle.
6. Position vehicle on alignment rack/drive-on hoist. Raise hoist as necessary to access mounting bolts.




7. At curb height, tighten lower control arm mounting bolts (2) to 163 Nm (120 ft. lbs.).
8. Perform wheel alignment. Service and Repair
