Installation







INSTALLATION





1. With assistance from a helper, place hood (5) in position on vehicle.
2. Install bottom bolts (3) to attach hood to hinge finger tight.
3. Install top bolts (3) to attach hood to hinge (4) finger tight.
4. Position bolts at outline marks and tighten bolts (3) to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.). The hood (5) should be aligned to 4 mm (0.160 in.) gap to the front fenders and flush across the top surfaces along fenders.
5. Connect under hood lamp wire connector to engine compartment wire harness, if equipped.
6. Route and connect windshield washer hose to hood.
7. Verify hood latch operation and alignment. Adjust as necessary.
