Installation







INSTALLATION





1. Insert the new flipper door assembly into the panel and install the 4 screws loosely to allow alignment/adjustment.
2. Lay the panel on its side and align the door to the trim panel.




3. Tighten the screws in the following order: forward fastener (1), rear inboard fastener (2), rear outboard fastener (3), then mid fastener (4).
4. To maximize flipper door pin engagement in the track, carefully loosen the two rear screws while squeezing the rails together. Tighten the two rear screws.
5. Verify door alignment.

NOTE: The dimension between the rails are critical for correct door operation.

6. Manually operate the flipper door to check for smooth operation. If the door binds in the track, repeat step 4.
7. Install the quarter trim panels. Lower Quarter Trim - Installation.
