Body - Front Door Glass Service

NUMBER: 23-006-08

GROUP: Body

DATE: January 25, 2008

SUBJECT:
Front Door Glass Service - Attaching Fastener

MODELS:

2008 (JS27) Sebring Convertible

DISCUSSION:

When performing front door glass service, the rear bolt and nut fastener must have thread locker installed to maintain proper nut and bolt torque. Mopar Lock & Seal Adhesive BLUE p/n 04318031(6 ml tube) or equivalent is recommended. Torque both attaching nut/bolts to 8 N-m (71 In. Lbs).

NOTE:
Glass retainer rear bolt installed with improper torque and/or lack of thread locker may allow the fastener to loosen over time and cause glass to tilt out of place and/or cause a rattle sound in the door.
