Upper Intake Manifold

REMOVAL - INTAKE MANIFOLD UPPER





1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove throttle body air inlet hose (1) and air cleaner housing assembly.




3. Disconnect electrical connectors from the following components:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor
- Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Sensor
- Idle Air Control (IAC) Motor
- Inlet Air Temperature Sensor (IAT)





4. Disconnect Vapor Purge hose, Brake Booster hose, Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hose.
5. Remove EGR tube.
6. Disconnect the electronic throttle control (ETC) (2).




7. Remove lower throttle body support bracket.
8. Remove rear support bracket fasteners.
9. Remove manifold attaching bolts.
10. Remove upper manifold.
