Power Window Control Module: Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION

MODULE - FRONT DOOR


The front door modules receive inputs from the door switches to control the operation of the power locks, power window and power mirror systems. The door module contains the circuitry for the auto-express down for both doors and the auto-express up feature for the driver door. The auto-express up feature on the passenger door is available for export models only.

MODULE - SLIDING DOOR


The rear sliding door modules receive inputs from door switches to control the operation of the power locks and power window. The door module also communicates with other vehicle systems via the Controlled Area Network (CAN) bus.
