Ignition Coil - Installation
6.1L 1.
Before installing coil(s), apply dielectric grease to inside of
spark plug boots (1).
2.
Position
ignition coil into valve cover and push both
spark plug boots onto each spark plug.
3.
Install two coil mounting bolts (3) and tighten to 12 Nm (106 in. lbs.).
4.
Connect electrical connector (1) to coil and lock connector.
5.
Connect negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.).
