LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLD










1. Clean all sealing surfaces.
2. Position new gaskets (2) and the intake manifold (1) on the cylinder heads.





3. Install the intake manifold bolts and gradually tighten in the sequence shown to 28 Nm (250 in. lbs.).










4. Install the fuel rail and injectors as an assembly Fuel Injector - Installation.
5. Connect the fuel supply hose to the fuel rail Service and Repair
6. Connect the electrical connectors to the fuel injectors and the coolant temperature sensor.










7. Connect the heater hose (2) to the coolant pipe (1).
8. Connect the coolant container hose (3) to the coolant pipe (1).










9. Install the upper intake manifold (1) Intake Manifold - Installation.










10. Connect the upper radiator hose (2) to the thermostat housing.
11. Fill the cooling system Service and Repair.
12. Connect the negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.).
