NOTE: LHD model shown. RHD model similar.

1. Position the blower motor resistor (3) into the front HVAC housing (1).
2. Engage the retaining tabs (5) that secure the blower motor resistor to the HVAC housing. Make sure the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
3. Install the two screws (4) that secure the blower motor resistor to the HVAC housing. Tighten the screws to 1.2 Nm (10 in. lbs.).
4. Connect the wire harness connector (2) to the blower motor resistor.
5. If equipped, install the silencer to the bottom of the instrument panel.
6. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
