Crankshaft Position Sensor - Removal

WARNING: The normal operating temperature of the exhaust system is very high. Therefore, never work around or attempt to service any part of the exhaust system until it is cooled. Personal injury caused from burns can result from contact made to the exhaust system components.

CAUTION: When disconnecting sensor electrical connector, do not pull directly on harness connector wires. Damage to the harness connector and/or wires may occur.

1. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable at battery.
2. Disconnect harness connector (3) from the crankshaft position sensor (2).
3. Remove bolt (1).
4. Remove crankshaft position sensor (2) from the transmission housing (4).
