1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Locate the front axle sensor (4) within the right front fender wheel house.
4. Disconnect the underbody wire harness connector (5) from the sensor connector receptacle.
5. Carefully unsnap the upper end of the front axle sensor link from the ball stud (2) on the forward-facing side of the front suspension upper control arm (1).
6. Loosen the two nut (6) that secures the sensor mounting bracket to the keyed hole in the inner wheel house sheet metal.
7. Lift the sensor and bracket upward far enough to disengage the head of the fastener from the keyed hole.
8. Remove the front axle sensor, bracket and link from the vehicle as a unit.
