Powertrain Control Module (PCM) - 62TE

U0100-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH THE ECM/PCM

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.

- When Monitored:
Ignition run time is greater than one second.

Battery voltage between 9 and 16 volts.

Engine run time greater than three seconds.

- Set Condition:
Bus messages not received from the Powertrain Control Module (ECM/PCM) for approximately two to five seconds.





ACTIVE DTC
1. Ignition on, engine not running.
2. With the scan tool, select view DTCs.

Is the DTC Active at this time?

Yes

- Testing and Inspection and perform the U0100-Lost Communication with ECM/PCM diagnostic procedure.

No

- Stored Lost Communication DTCs and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
