Vehicle Speed Sensor Installation

VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR INSTALLATION

1. Inspect the vehicle speed sensor (62) for damage to the sensor, the electrical connector, or the O-ring (63).
2. Clean and dry the vehicle speed sensor (62).

3. Install the O-ring (63) onto the vehicle speed sensor (62).
4. Install the vehicle speed sensor (62) into the transmission case.
5. Install the vehicle speed sensor stud (61). Tighten the speed sensor stud to 9 ft. lbs. (12 Nm).
