Main Switch

1. Remove switch as follows:
a. Remove tapping screws.
b. Rear window defogger switch by removing instrument cluster finish panel, then removing defogger switch.
c. Remove main switch.

2. Using suitable volt/ohmmeter ensure there is continuity between terminal 5 and 2 with main switch on, Fig. 11.
3. Ensure there is no continuity between terminal 5 and 3 with main switch pushed off.
4. Measure resistance between terminals 1 and 4. Resistance should be approximately 150 ohms.
