Throttle Position Sensor: Adjustments

1. Warm engine and check idle speed.
2. Raise engine speed to 3000 RPM.
3. Close throttle valve slowly.
4. Observe engine speed when throttle positioner dashpot lever comes in contact with throttle lever.
5. If engine speed is not 1500-1700 RPM for 1989 models and manual transmission-equipped 1990-92 models or 2700-2900 RPM for 1990-92 models with automatic transmissions, adjust by turning adjusting screw on dashpot.
