Ignition Coil: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect ignition coil wire from coil.
2. With ignition off and engine cold, use an ohmmeter to measure resistance between positive and negative terminals. Resistance should read 0.2-1.0 ohms.
3. Measure resistance between positive terminal and ignition coil wire terminal. Resistance should read 4.5-20 ohms.
