BARO / MAP Sensor Switching Valve: Testing and Inspection

1. With ignition off, disconnect vacuum and electrical connections from pressure VSV.
2. Measure resistance of pressure VSV. Resistance should be 20-60 ohms.
3. Connect compressed air to pressure VSV as shown if Fig. 78. No air should exit from any other port.

4. Connect compressed air to pressure VSV as shown in Fig. 79. Air should exit only as shown.

5. Connect battery voltage to pressure VSV.
6. Connect compressed air as shown in Fig. 80. Air should exit only as shown.

7. Connect compressed air as shown in Fig. 81. No air should exit from any other port.
