Check Engine Warning Lamp
The Check Engine warning lamp will light when the
ignition switch is placed in the ON position and the engine is not operating. When the engine is started, the Check Engine warning lamp should go off. If the lamp remains lighted, the diagnostic system has detected a malfunction or abnormality in the system.
