SYMPTOM/CONDITION

Subject model vehicles built before February 21, 1983 may exhibit a rough idle condition during cold engine operation.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

NOTE: This improved propane specification change has been incorporated into production with the introduction of carburetor PN 4287088. Vehicles equipped with tbe 4287088 carburetor do not require this service..

For correction of customer complaints of a rough idle when the engine is cold on vehicles built with the PN 4179129 carburetor, reset the propane enriched idle speed from 760 rpm to 700 rpm using the procedure outlined in the subject model service manual.
