Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Description
The coolant temperature sensor measures temperature of the engine coolant. The coolant temperature sensor is mounted in the thermostat housing or in water passage of intake manifold. The sensor monitors engine coolant (operating) temperature. It supplies the logic module with a voltage signal which varies with coolant temperature.
