Throttle Full Open Switch: Testing and Inspection

The cutout switch on the carburetor opens the compressor clutch circuit, when the throttle is 10 degrees from being wide open.
1. Disconnect the wir connector to the cut-out switch.
2. With the throttle in cthe closed position and with the connector alignment dimple facing down,connect an ohmmeter to #1 and #3 terminals.
3. Check continuity with continuity tester or ohmmeter. If there is no continuity, replace the switch.
4. With throttle at 10 degrees before wide open and up to fully wide open throttle, check switch continuity. If continuity exists, press the actuator with a screwdriver and make sure the circuit opens.
5. Adjust the switch so that the circuit is open from 10 degrees before wide open to wide open throttle. If continuity still exists, replace the cutout switch.
