The location of the electronic controlled injection (ECI) self-diagnosis connector on subject model vehicles built from December, 1983 is relocated from the passenger compartment to underhood just in front of the right strut area..

The connector now combines the output terminal (#3) for the selfdiagnosis function and the terminal (#2) for checking the oxygen sensor output (Figure 1).
