6B Resistance of Ignition Coil Primary Windings

1. Connect ohmmeter between ignition coil positive and negative terminals.
2. If ohmmeter reading is 1.2---1.6 ohms on 1985 models, or 1.0---2.0 ohms on 1986---87 models, proceed to Step C.
3. If ohmmeter reading is not between 1 and 2 ohms of resistance, replace ignition coil.
