DR-10A Choke & Fast Idle Cam Linkage

This test must be done with a COLD engine.
1. With engine cold, set accelerator linkage to proper start position.
2. Remove air cleaner, then check choke plate and fast idle cam position.
3. If choke plate is fully closed and fast idle screw is on highest step of cam, proceed to Test 11.
4. If choke is not fully closed or idle cam is not in position, check for choke plate sticking or binding and repair choke and linkage as necessary.
