DR-15B Checking Choke Control
This test must be done with a COLD engine.
1. With engine cold and running, connect a voltmeter to terminal of choke control that goes to electric choke heater and ground.
2. If voltmeter reads as follows: air temperature below 55°F, single stage 0 volts, dual stage 5 to 9 volts; air temperature above 80°F, single and dual stage within one volt of battery voltage, proceed to Step C. Note that single stage has no resistor and dual stage does.
3. If voltmeter reading is not within specifications, proceed to Step D.
