Idle Speed Control System

Crank throttle angle, deceleration throttle angle and engine idle speed are controlled by an electric motor driven actuator which changes throttle angle by acting as a moveable idle stop. The ISC actuator is controlled by the ECU by providing appropriate signals to adjust throttle angle or idle speed for particular operating conditions. Electronic components for the ISC system are integral with the ECU.
